In case you can’t tell from the time stamps on the last few posts, I’m just now finishing up the last of my reviews from my trip. Truth is, I finally made it home on Saturday, October the 23rd … but I came home to my husband having to have surgery, so things have been a little time-crunched the last week. It’s just taken me some time to get caught up.
- I flew out of Seattle on September 14th–and returned home on October 23rd–so I traveled a total of thirty-nine days.
- I flew into Jacksonville, FL–bought a used car in Tifton, GA about a week after I arrived–and then drove 6,156 miles home from there.
- Out of 39 days on the road, I only bought five nights total in a hotel room: and it would have been four if I hadn’t broke down in Superior, MT that last day. What that means is … I have an awesome collection of friends and family. I love you all … more than you can ever know!
I still haven’t finished unloading and inventorying my trunk yet. I’ve been sort of busy with my husband’s health … but I’ll have it for you soon!
So I’m tired–and I’m awful glad to be home–but I had an absolute BLAST on the AFoodJourneyToGo 2010 Tour! It was quite an adventure, and I really, REALLY enjoyed getting to see all my friends and family! It’s been too long since I’ve seen some of them … but hopefully it won’t be long before I can do something like this again.
Once I rest a bit, of course
